Studentteateret Immaturus

Studentteateret Immaturus (Immaturus) is an amateur theater with a professional level and organization. As a driftsorganization at Kvarteret, members of Immaturus's volunteers members benefits at the students culture house.

With between 2 and 4 productions each semester and a string of smaller events, everything is in place for the best offer theater amateurs have in Bergen. The goal is that Immaturus is both for students who wish to professionalize themselves in theater and for the happy amateur.

Immaturus is Norways largest students theater and the only students organization in Nortway dedicated to theater and performing arts. Immaturus is also one of the most active students organizations in Beregn, and "employs" over 100 members in theater.

Our main goal is to facilitate for creators joy and artistic expression. We give students in Bergen the opportunity to develop within a wide selection of activites related to performing arts. Vi gir studenter i Bergen muligheten til å utvikle seg innenfor et bredt tilbud av scenekunstrelaterte aktiviteter.

Immaturus is an organization open for everybody and previous experience is not a prerequisite. We also organize weekly events and groups together, in addition to plays of varying size.

Of the weekly groups, allow us to tempt you with improv groups, music theater, writers group, stage gym and Dungeons & Dragons.

Every wednesday, at 20:00, we have a variety of events at Det Akademiske Kvarter: Open scene, poetry evening and Bergen Impro Battle.

But what would a students theater be without theater production? Every semester, we organize at least one main production, as well as smaller projects of varying size.
