Kvarterets board of managers

Kvarterstyret (Kvast) is Kvarterets top managerial board between general assemblies, and is responsible for the daily management of Kvarteret. The board represents Kvarteret when facing outward, towards both media and other organizations.

Kvarterstyret consists of 8 people that are selected by the general assembly. The positions in Kvarterstyret are all unpaid. Their task is to plan long-term, develop goals and move Kvarteret towards them, as well as manage and develop the organization. The board members is responsible for their own in-house arbeidsgruppe.

Leader

is Kvarterets outward face and the one most responsible for Kvarteret. It is the leaders task to coordinate the rest of Kvarterstyrets work, and to find long-term and short-term solutions for the organizations problems. As leader, one has a responsibility to establish and maintain communication with important external partners.


Second-in-command

is Kvarterets link to the houses essential partners, mainly drifts- and- brukerorganizations. Second-in-command is the leaders stand-in and contributes to preparation for meetings. Second-in-command also work closely with administrative manager to secure followthrough of larger construction projects. Second-in-command is also reponsible for Romvesenet (Space patrol).


Economical manager

is responsible for Kvarterets economical management. The position comes with the highest reponsibility for all budgeting and accouting. The person in question reports monthly to Kvarterets board of shareholders, SKiBAS, and works closely with administrative manager and the economy group.


PR manager

is responsible for Kvarterets public image. PR manager is responsible for the maintenance of existing advertisement deals, as well as establishing new ones. Additionally, the person in question shall secure a good promotion cooperation with Kvarterets drifts-organizations. PR manager is responsible for the PR department.


Market manager

Is responsible for a visionary and analytical development of Kvarterets cultural offers. The person in question is responsible for acquiring new potensial event organizers, as well as make Kvarteret visible as the first choice of student-event organizers. Additionally, the market manager must make sure that the house is an attractive alternatie for external event organizers. Market manager is responsible for the market group.


Volunteer manager

makes sure there is good working environment for the volunteers at Kvarteret. This includes following up on internal flow of information, coursing, care for members and personnel matters. The volunteer manager also works with securing sustainable recruitment. Volunteer manager is responsible for the personnel group and rettsvesenet.


Operations manager

is responsible for the management of the bar and guardian operations. The operations manager has a central role in communicationg and cooperating with the inspection authorities in Bergen county. The person in question is also responsible for the development of the assortment of products at Kvarteret, as well as continuous contact with vendors of food and drinks. The operations manager is responsible for skjenkegruppen and vaktetaten.


Productions manager

is responsible for the production and followthrough of regular selection of events at Kvarteret. This consists mainly of coordinating with our regular event organizers. Productions manager is the main authority for Kvarterets own concepts and developing them, as well as the planning and followthrough of the opening weeks every semester. The productions manager is in charge of kraftetaten and the production department.
