Do you want kitchen and bar experience?

Then you've come to the perfect place! We need volunteers to contribute both in the kitchen of our café, Stjernesalen, and in our bars, Grøndahls and Halvtimen.

The groups at the house

At Kvarteret, we have a group called "Skjenkegruppen" (The Serving Group). It consists of the groups "Stjernesalen", "Grøndahls", "Halvtimen", and "Kokkegruppen" (The Cooking Group).

Stjernesalen is Kvarteret's café which is open every day except Sunday from 2:00 PM - 7:00 PM. Here you can get all types of experience in café operations. Such as taking orders, brewing coffee, alcohol sales, cake serving, and lunch and dinner service.

This group collaborates a lot with "Kokkegruppen", which contributes in the kitchen. In the kitchen, you get to work with our head chef, Inghild Brun, to make all the food that can be ordered from the menu. This includes everything from burgers, pizzas, cakes, nachos, and various other lunch dishes. Maybe you can sneak a little piece of cake while no one is looking? ;)

Grøndahls is our bar on the first floor where you get good experience with alcohol service. Here you work together with the security group to ensure an enjoyable evening for all students! The same applies to Halvtimen, our bar on the 3rd floor, but you also get the opportunity to serve cocktails. Note: You must be 20 years old to volunteer at Halvtimen.
